Donna Ore    [Practice Nurse]

For just over a year now, I have been the practice’s nurse. I do variety of tasks which includes triaging of phone call, electronic and letter referrals, answering patients’ enquiries, chaperoning during patient examinations and assisting specialists during procedures, managing private surgical bookings (cancellation, rescheduling, confirmation), liaising with our three specialists, hospitals and other practices with regards to patient care and other general duties to help assist other members of the team.

Vicky Hastie   [Pre Surgery Administrator]

I have had a variety of roles here for about 9 years. As the practice has grown I have taken on the role of pre surgery administrator. This role means I manage all pre surgery papers and documentation, and relieving at reception when required.

 

Julie Dinniss   [Practice Administrator]

Over the past 4 years my role has changed due to the growth of the practice, now being involved in keeping the administration side of the practice running smoothly. This sees me carrying out the stock ordering, document management, DHB referrals and organizing theatre equipment each week. I also assist and float through roles as reuiredin the practice..

 

Robyn Ballard   [Practice Manager]

I started over 14 years ago as the sole administrator/receptionist. I have seen the practice grow from one doctor to three and seen support staff grow from one person to five people. I am currently a part time staff member and have enjoyed seeing the growth of this practice and its increasing service range. My role now involves finance management, overdue account management, administration of surgical accounts, general administration and overall running of the practice.

 

Natasha Metcalfe   [Typist]

I have worked for the practice for over 9 years as the medical typist. I currently work off site typing all of the practices correspondence.

 

Melissa Lambert  [Practice Reception]

A year ago I was employed as a full time receptionist with basic receptionists duties. Within a short time of being employed my responsibilities and general duties have expanded. I assist the practice manager, nurse and 3 specialist with varied task as required to aid with the smooth daily operations for the practice. It is very busy and at times challenging which I love and really enjoy the fact that no two days are the same.
